If your essential oil diffuser is not misting, not turning on, or not working properly, don’t worry — most issues can be fixed at home with a few simple steps. Follow these troubleshooting tips to get your diffuser running smoothly again.
Step 1: Check Water Levels
-
Always fill the tank just below the MAX fill line.
-
If your diffuser has too much or too little water, the automatic shut-off may prevent it from producing mist.
Step 2: Check Power Supply
-
For USB diffusers not working, use the correct adapter: 5V 1.0A or 5V 2.0A. Some models require stronger power flow.
-
Try plugging your diffuser into a different outlet, as not all outlets provide consistent power.
Step 3: Optimize Placement
-
If your diffuser is working but appears not to mist, check the environment. Avoid open windows, vents, or fans that can disperse the mist too quickly.
Step 4: Clean Your Diffuser
-
If your essential oil diffuser stopped working after use, it may need cleaning.
-
Empty the tank, wipe with a soft cloth, and clean with vinegar or a Klenzor tablet.
-
For best results, allow the diffuser to dry upside down for at least 48 hours before reusing.
Step 5: Still Not Working?
If your diffuser still isn’t misting or turning on after trying these steps, it may qualify for a warranty claim. Please contact our Customer Care Team at info@sparoom.com for further assistance.
