There’s nothing quite like the feeling of silky, deeply moisturized skin. But what if you could achieve that spa-like softness with a simple, all-natural, DIY recipe? Our homemade Lavender Body Butter is the perfect way to treat yourself while knowing exactly what’s going onto your skin.

This whipped body butter is packed with ultra-hydrating ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, and jojoba oil, leaving your skin feeling smooth and replenished. Plus, the calming aroma of Sparoom’s Lavender Essential Oil will help you unwind, making it the perfect addition to your self-care routine.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Coconut Oil – Deeply moisturizing and helps to soothe dry skin.
  • 1 Cup Shea Butter – Rich in vitamins and fatty acids to nourish and protect.
  •  1/2 Cup Sparoom’s Jojoba Oil – A lightweight, non-greasy oil that mimics the skin’s natural oils for deep hydration.
  • 10-30 Drops Sparoom Lavender Essential Oil – Adds a soothing aroma and calming benefits.

How to Make DIY Lavender Body Butter:
1. Melt coconut oil and shea butter over low heat for about 10-12 minutes until fully combined.
2. Pour the melted mixture into a mixing bowl and let it cool slightly.
3. Stir in 1/2 cup of Sparoom’s Jojoba Oil (this carrier oil safely disperses the essential oils while providing additional hydration).
4. Add 10-30 drops of Sparoom’s Lavender Essential Oil and mix well.
5. Place the mixture in the fridge for 1-2 hours until it begins to solidify.
6. Whip with an electric mixer until it reaches a light, fluffy, frosting-like consistency (it looks delicious, but remember—this is for external use only!).
7. Scoop your whipped body butter into a sealed container, and it’s ready to use!

How to Use:
After the shower – Lock in moisture while your skin is still damp.
Before bed – The calming lavender scent helps promote relaxation and restful sleep.
Anytime your skin needs extra love – Perfect for dry patches, elbows, and knees.

Why Lavender?
Lavender essential oil provides more than just a lovely scent—it’s a powerhouse ingredient for both your skin and your mind. Known for its calming and stress-relieving properties, lavender helps to ease tension, promote relaxation, and encourage restful sleep. But it doesn’t stop there! Lavender also boasts skin-soothing benefits, making it ideal for hydrating and nourishing dry or irritated skin.
