What You’ll Need
- 1 lb goat’s milk soap base (sliced for even melting)
- 12 drops Sparoom Orange Essential Oil
- 6 drops Sparoom Eucalyptus Essential Oil
- 3 drops Sparoom Lemongrass Essential Oil
- Optional colorants: ¼–½ tsp turmeric powder (for a warm golden hue)
- Leaf-shaped silicone mold
- Spoon or stirrer
- Microwave-safe glass bowl or double boiler
How to Make It

Prep the Base
Slice the goat’s milk soap base into small cubes so it melts evenly.

Melt the First Half
Place half of the cubes in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler. Heat for 2 minutes total, stirring halfway through, until the soap is fully melted and smooth.

Make and Pour the Orange Layer
Stir all essential oils into the melted soap:
- 12 drops Orange Essential Oil
- 6 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
- 3 drops Lemongrass Essential Oil
If desired, add turmeric powder for a golden-orange tint. Mix thoroughly and pour into the leaf molds, filling each cavity halfway.

Melt and Pour the Clear Layer
Melt the remaining soap base. Gently pour the mixture over the orange layer, filling each cavity almost to the top.

Cool and Unmold
Let the soaps sit at room temperature overnight. Once hardened, carefully remove them from the molds.
